Welcome to our Recipe Blog!
Here at Horn Winery and Azeo Distillery, we love what we do. Whether it’s wine, spirits or our small dabble in cider, we are passionate about all thing’s alcohol. With that, we would love to share some food recipes that incorporates our wine and spirits to elevate your parties, holidays or if you’re just looking for a boozy snack! So, let’s get down to business.
The first recipe we’re going to start off with is our Azeo Black Label Brandy-Soaked Cherries and they are DELICIOUS! We use them in our brandy old fashioned, but you can use them to spice up any brandy, whiskey or bourbon cocktail or even just eat a whole jar. Seriously it’ll be hard to stop eating these!!
Here are the steps to make these awesome cherries!
Start off by making a brown sugar simple syrup. Pit your cherries. Soak them in our Black Label Brandy for at least an hour. Add cherries to an empty jar. Fill jar with cherries halfway with brandy and the rest with the brown sugar simple syrup. Leave in the fridge for at least three days then voila, you’ve got magic! Super simple to make with amazing results.
